Two Day Course
The Encounters Course is the second step in building your foundation here at Champion Life. This course focuses on strengthening our journey of faith. This journey begins with walking out of the bondages of past sins, through seasons of growth, and into a place of strong faith and fulfillment in God. This encounter with the Word of God and the anointing of the Holy Spirit helps new and growing Christians define and target areas of weakness, spiritual strongholds, sinful tendencies and long standing habits to deal with them in a biblical manner by renouncing sin in the their life. Leave your past where it belongs so you can move forward to a fulfilling future Christ has purchased for you to live. This is a Friday night and Saturday course.
OMG! *Oh-Em-Gee* WOW! Can I just say that Pastors Mark & Linda Carpenter who put this Encounters class on, are AMAZING! And this is a MUST TAKE COURSE if you want to change your life! GOD IS SO GOOD & HE CERTAINLY SHOWED UP!
This was looooong awaited for me & let me tell you it was SO WORTH IT! Everyone said that Day 1 was pretty much an introduction and not too intense; just a lot of references & what-to-expect speeches for the next day….WELL LET ME TELL YOU THAT FOR ME, GOD WAS MOVING IN ME THAT NIGHT & IT WAS INTENSE, IN A GREAT WAY! Everything that Pastors Mark & Linda were saying SPOKE RIGHT TO ME, the worship SPOKE TO ME, & even just sitting there during break, GOD was speaking to me! AND I hadn’t even gotten to Day 2 yet!
I wasn’t expecting GOD to reveal things to me BUT HE DID! So Day 1 for me was the start of something amazing & God prepared my spirit & my heart for Day 2….because that was THE REAL DEAL! Jedidiah Thurner ROCKED THE HOUSE! And Pastor Mark Carpenter BROUGHT IT!
It was amazing, wonderful, emotional, captivating, humbling, and all around JUST WHAT I NEEDED! God showed up that day & revealed to me TRUE PEACE in my life, a love of a FATHER that I had never experienced before, REAL forgiveness, a FREEDOM like none other & a humble heart to move forward in confidence, knowing that GOD has my best interests at heart! I walked away from this class FOREVER CHANGED…..I no longer have to carry the weight of my past and it feels so good!
This was the light at the end of my what seemed to be really dark tunnel & I am so grateful for Pastors Mark & Linda Carpenter, for orchestrating that for me. This class changed my life & I am so thankful for my beautiful family at Champion Life Church! LOVE YOU GUYS!
